To secure our website, we use the Wordfence security software provided by Defiant Inc., USA. Wordfence analyzes access to the website and blocks attempted attacks. In this process, IP addresses and browser information are processed. A transfer of data to the USA is possible and takes place on the basis of the EU Standard Contractual Clauses pursuant to Article 46 GDPR.
For regular data backups, we use the UpdraftPlus plugin. Backups of our website are stored in our Google Drive account, which is operated by Google Ireland Ltd. (EU). Access by Google LLC (USA) cannot be excluded but is also protected by EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
To manage your cookie consents, we use the tool Complianz (Complianz B.V., Netherlands). A technically necessary cookie is set in your browser to store your selection. The storage is based on our legal obligation pursuant to Article 6 (1) (c) GDPR in conjunction with Section 25 (2) of the German Telecommunications-Telemedia Data Protection Act (TTDSG).
If you contact us by email, we process the data you provide solely for the purpose of handling your inquiry. The processing is carried out pursuant to Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR, insofar as it serves the initiation of a contract, or pursuant to Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR, if it concerns general inquiries.
Cookies and Local Storage:
We use only technically necessary cookies, in particular to manage your consent status via Complianz. Non-essential cookies (such as for statistical or marketing purposes) are currently not used. The legal basis is Section 25 (2) No. 2 of the German Telecommunications-Telemedia Data Protection Act (TTDSG) in conjunction with Article 6 (1) GDPR.
